This radio model exists in two fundamentally different versions.
RCD 310 without MDI / Media-In

RCD 310 with MDI / Media-In

Installation
For installing the VW RCD 310 of the 1st generation, standard tools are usually sufficient. The original radio is mounted with screws. Typically, TORX T20 screws are used. The screws are located under trim panels, which can be removed quickly and safely using our TORX tool removal set

Connection options
The connection of the VW RCD 310, 1st generation, without MDI, blue display background is simple and based on a Quadlock connector. The slot for the streaming box is the slot for the external CD changer.
