Fitting a Bluetooth & USB to a VW RCD 510 Without MDI Media-In

The VW RCD 510, 1st generation, without MDI does not support features such as Bluetooth music streaming, Bluetooth hands-free calling, USB ports or charging functions from factory. This radio model exists in two fundamentally different versions.

RCD 510 without MDI / Media-In

• Identifier 1: The part number helps. The versions without MDI use part number XXX 035 190 or XXX 057 190.
• Identifier 2: If there is an AUX port, it is located directly on the radio unit, not separate from it.

RCD 510 with MDI / Media-In
